Born and raised in Scotland, Alan is a PGA Professional whose career in golf has taken him across the globe, working at some of the world’s most prestigious clubs, including Dallas Country Club in Texas, Whistling Straits in Wisconsin—home to major championships and the 2021 Ryder Cup—Westchester Country Club in New York, Dubai Creek Golf Club in the UAE, and Loch Lomond Golf Club in Scotland, one of the finest private clubs in the world.

As a seasoned PGA Professional, Alan has spent years coaching golfers of all ages and abilities while also organizing high-end golf experiences internationally. He understands what makes a round truly exceptional, from course conditions and thoughtful preparation to the camaraderie that defines the game.

His deep industry knowledge and long-standing connections allow him to create golf trips that combine legendary courses with lesser-known destinations, offering experiences that are both authentic and carefully curated.

While attending school in Edinburgh, Alan played for the University team in national competitions and gained numerous coaching qualifications. His coaching experience ranges from East Dunbartonshire schools to various locations in the United States with Britannia Soccer Camp.

Alan earned a Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
